She was the daughter of the late James and Violet Travis Parks and had been in the Bristol area since 1975, returning from Maryland. She was a former convenient store worker and was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Survivors include: husband, JohnW. Hendershot Sr.; sons, John W. Hendershot of North Augusta, S.C., and James M. Hendershot of Bristol Tennessee; daughter, Kathy Marion of Bristol Tennessee; sister, Jean Goforth of Blountville; brothers, Tommy Parks of Bristol Tennessee, Ronnie Parks of Bristol Tennessee and Gary Parks of Bristol Tennessee; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted onWednesday at 2 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jacqueline Oxendine officiating. Interment will follow at MountainView Cemetery. Pallbearers include: John W. Hendrshot Jr., James M. Hendershot,Wayne M. Kistner, Tommy Kistner, John Mullins and John Mutter. Honorary pallbearers will be brothers-in-law.
