Hively THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Harry Gene Hively, 74, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2002, at Los Robles Medical Center. A native of Memphis and a retired U.S. Air Force officer, he was the son of the late Alexander and Lee Hively. A brother, Charles Hively preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mary Gordon Stuart Hively, formerly of Bristol; a son, Steven, his wife, Marsha, and their children, Alec, John and Mackenzie, all of Camarillo, Calif.; a daughter, Sheryl, her husband, Doug, and their children, Deanne and Darien of Sebastian,Fla.; sisters Frances Wimsett of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Alice Christopher of Germantown, Tenn.; and a brother-in-law, Keith Christopher of Germantown. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, in Shelby Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Paul Hamilton Fuller IV officiating, with military honors conducted by Shaw Air Force Base Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or The Green Cancer Center of Scripps Clinic, 1066 N. Torrey Pines Road, LaJolla, CA 92037.
