Lecta Wassom Jarrett

BLUFF CITY -- Lecta Wassom Jarrett, 91, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2003,
at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Elizabethton, Tenn. She was a lifelong resident of
Bluff City and was a retired employee at Lerner's Dress Shop. She was the
daughter of the late Isaac and Ella Reynolds Wassom and was of the Baptist
faith. 

Survivors include: grandsons, Douglas Allen Jarrett of Bluff City, Harrell
Jarrett Jr. of Georgetown, Ky., and Craig Lyon of Johnson City; step-
grandchildren, Michael Buchanan and Emily Campbell; and great-grandchildren,
Katelyn Jarret, Mikayla Jarrett, Caleb Jarrett, Devin Jarrett, Hannah Lyon and
Sadie Lyon.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home
Chapel with Pastor Joe Blankenship officiating. Committal services will be held
on Monday at 1 p.m. at Shelby Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Sunday from 2-3:45 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may
be made to Bluff City Baptist Church, 244 Main St., Bluff City, TN. Online

at 1 p.m. at Shelby Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
Bluff City Baptist Church, 244 Main St., Bluff City, TN. Online condolences may
