Henninger James Lewis Henninger, 79, of 1620 Virginia Ave., Bristol, Tenn., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tenn. He was born April 20, 1923, a son of the late James and Flora Denton Henninger, and has made his home in the Bristol area all of his life. Mr. Henninger was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Denton Valley Baptist Church and a retired health care provider and tobacco farmer. Survivors include cousins, Ailene Stewart, Hazel Musick and Bonnie Musick; and cousin and health care provider, Dyke Parker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Henninger. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at the graveside in Campbell-Denton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Delmer Jones, Terry Jones, James Mahaffey, Louis Watson, Bob Sweet and Dyke Parker. Honorary pallbearers are Ernest Montgomery, C.H. Denton and Gene Sweet.
