Kellogg Dr. John H. Kellogg, 52, of Bristol, Tenn., died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003. He was born in San Francisco, Calif., a son of the late James and Mary Kellogg. He was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, received a Doctor of Pharmacology Degree from the University of California at San Francisco, and received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Hampton Roads, Virginia. He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and was currently a Commander in the Naval Reserve. He had lived in Bristol for the past 2 1/2 years, was associated with Wellmont, and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife of 28 1/2 years, Sara G. Kellogg and his son, Andrew Cannady Kellogg, a junior at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Frank Blanton Scholarship Fund, c/o the Wellmont Foundation, 1 Medical Park Boulevard, Bristol, TN 37620.
