She was the daughter of Craig VanValkenburgh of Wood Stock, N.Y., and Peggy Howard Borgos, Bluff City. Mrs. Lambert was owner of The Sidetrack Cafe in Bluff City and had worked for Sprint Publishing and Advertising for six years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Jeffery VanValkenburgh. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Todd Lambert; one son, Matthew Lambert of the home; maternal grandmother, Frances Howard of Bluff City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Julia Lambert of Bluff City; one brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Rebecca VanValkenburgh of Piney Flats; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Tommy Lambert and Gail Lambert, both of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Nathan Lambert of Bluff City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, in the Tetrick Funeral Home - Bluff City Chapel with Brother Joe Hudson officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Phil Whittaker. Graveside service and interment will follow in Morningview Cemetery, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will be chosen from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home -Bluff City.
