Death came at home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Russellville, Tenn., and had lived in Bristol until 1970. She was a member of Rosemont Presbyterian Church. She is survived by husband, Chester D. Leonard; one son, B.R. Osborne and wife Sue of Madison; and grandsons, Mark Osborne and wife, Vanessa of Suwanee, Ga., Matthew Osborne and wife, Melissa, and great-granddaughter, Hanna of Dacula, Ga., and Andrew Osborne and wife, Jill of Athens, Ga. She is also survived by one sister, Evelyn Leonard of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Noah, Minister, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
