Pam, was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She is loved by a host of friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Pam graduated from Central High School. She had been a dental assistant with Drs. Carver, Stiakas, Mather and Smith for 26 years. She was an active member of Sunnyside Baptist Church where she taught a nursery Sunday School class and sang in the adult choir. Pam also loved her mission trips to Belize working with the Dental Missions Group. Pam was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Fred Light Sr.; maternal grandmother, Violet Evenoff; and paternal grandparents, Amos and Cordia Baker. Surviving are her loving husband, Jimmy Light of the home; son, Alex Light of the home; daughter and her husband, Audria and Kyle Bloomquist, Minnesota; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Konner Bloomquist, Minnesota; parents, Vincent and Barbara Baker, Blountville; mother-in-law, June Light, Kingsport; brothers and their wives, Lloyd and Connie Baker and Everett and Nina Baker; brother-in-law, Fred Light Jr.; nephews, Matthew Baker and Brent Baker; nieces, Riley Thompson and Courtney Light; and great-nephew, Ian Thompson. The family will receive friends any time at the home of Vincent and Barbara Baker and at Sunnyside Baptist Church Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. with Reverend Jack Parrott officiating. Soloists will be Doug Blair and Diana Clark, accompanist, Barbara Mumpower and organist Evelyn Duncan. Graveside services will be Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at noon in East Lawn Memorial Park.
