Marburger Pearl J. Marburger, 67, of 321 Lynwood St., Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, in the Wellmont Hospice House. She was born in Paw Paw, Ky., to the late Hiram Malon and Margaret Coleman Daugherty. She had lived in the Bristol area since 1993, was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Gene, Ina, Darrell, Jim, Merel and Everett. Mrs. Marburger is survived by three sons: David L. Jones and wife Sharon, of Bristol Tennessee; John S. Jones and wife Barbara of Bristol Tennessee; and Gerhard Marburger Jr. and wife April of Kingsport; two daughters: Susan C. Jones of Bristol Tennessee and Magdalana Marburger, of Carmel, N.Y.; four sisters: Ann, Betty, Lena and Ally; granddaughter, Alexandria E. Marburger; great-grandson, Christopher Bright; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Jack Stevens officiating. Mrs. Marburger's wishes were to be cremated. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 7:45 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel.
