She was born Sept. 21, 1916, in Elkins, W.Va., and has resided the past 17 years in Elyria and North Ridgeville. She was a resident of Bristol Tennessee from 1939-1961 and from 1970-1985. She was secretary for many years for "Forging Industry Education and Research Foundation." in Cleveland, Ohio. A lifelong Lutheran, she was a member of Bethesda on the Bay Lutheran Church in Bay Village, Ohio. She enjoyed card playing, reading and socializing with people. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Diane) Karp of Avon, Ohio; two granddaughters; and five great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Mack" McMillan in 1991. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, where funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. Pastor Dennis Stylski will officiate. Memorial contributions are requested to Bethesda on the Bay Lutheran Church, 28607 Wolf Road, Bay Village, OH 44140 or to "New Life Hospice", 5255 N. Abbe Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
