Lonnie Emmett Meadows died from injuries in the tornado on March 14, 1933. MEADOWS RITES SCHEDULED FRIDAY Victim of Storm to Be Buried at Fairview, W. Va., After Services at Camp Creek Funeral services for Lonnie Emmett Meadows, 30, killed in the wind storm last night, will be conducted Friday at Camp Creek, W. Va., with burial in the Fairview, W. Va. cemetery. Mr. Meadows had been a resident of Kingsport for the past two years and was employed as a mechanic at the Tennessee Eastman Corporation. He was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are his wife and one son, Lonnie Emmett Meadows, Jr., of Kingsport; his parents, on brother and five sisters of Camp Creek. The body will remain at the J. Frank Nelson Funeral Home until tomorrow morning when it will be taken in the Nelson ambulance to Camp Creek. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright.
