Nagata BLUFF CITY -- Mrs. Judy E. Holt Nagata, 55, of 651 Weaver Branch Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at her residence. Nagata BLUFF CITY -- Mrs. Judy E. Holt Nagata, 55, of 651 Weaver Branch Road died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at her residence. Mrs. Nagata was a native of Bluff City and had lived in Hawaii for 13 years before returning to Bluff City in 1991 to make her home. She was a daughter of Lena Myrtle Eads Holt of Bluff City and the late John Wesley Holt Sr. She was a cosmetologist and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, John Wesley Holt Jr. Survivors other than her mother include her husband of 19 years Paul S. Nagata of the home. Two daughters, Rebecca Thomas of Honolulu, Hawaii and Misty Hardin of Elizabethton; a stepson, Paul Nagata Jr of Honolulu; three sisters, Linda Black of Waldorf, Md., and Kathy Hensely and Janet Rasnick, both of Bluff City; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Kathy Holt of Bluff City; three half-brothers, Rodney Holt, James Holt and Michael Holt, all of Tennessee; and one half-sister, Angela H. Brinkley of Bluff City; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. Nagata will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 in Tetrick Funeral Home-Bluff City Chapel with Mr. Frank Black officiating. Music will be by Mrs. Sabra Smalling, soloist, and Linda Murray, pianist. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Children's Advocacy Center of Sullivan County, 266 Massengill Road, Blountville, TN 37617. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Judy is at peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
