Smith Patsy A. Smith, 51, of Bristol Tennessee, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was a Virginia High School graduate and was a homemaker. Patsy's strong faith and trust in the Lord touched many lives and she was a faithful member of Bethel View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Smith, in 1997; and her father, John W. Tolbert Sr. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Missy Smith, Bristol Tennessee, and Rhonda and Shane Leach, Bristol Tennessee; son and daughter- in-law, Mark and Karen Smith, Encinitas, Calif.; mother, Nellie E. Tolbert, Bristol Virginia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Bill Hutchinson, Jonesborough, Tenn., and Brenda and Norville Price, Concord, Va.; two brothers and sister-in-law, Henry Campbell, Bristol Virginia, and John Jr. and Judy Tolbert, Bristol Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Brandon and Mandy Ward, Alex and Andrew Smith and Hailey and Hannah Leach. She is also survived by very special in-laws; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2002, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rayburn officiating. The committal will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will leave in procession at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Tolbert Jr., Henry Campbell, Bill Hutchinson, Norville Price, Shane Leach and Donnie Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Carroll and Stan Roberson.
