B. Rogers, of this place. She has a son, E.S. Rogers, at Knoxville, who was here last week. Deceased was about 78 years of age, and an excellent Christian lady. She has been a long, but patient sufferer. The remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers were laid to rest Sunday in the cemetery at Blountville. Religious excercises were conducted from the house of her son, G.B.Rogers, by Rev. J.C.Carson. The deceased had many warm friends in Bristol, where she lived some years. She talked freely of death an her future home in Heaven, where she would soon be with her husband who went a few years ago. George Dishner, John Rogers, Bob Jones and a few others came down from Bristol last Sunday to attend the burial of Aunt Betsy Rogers.
