Slagle The funeral service Thomas Ensor Slagle will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Chapel of Blevins Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Bowery and Rev. Johnny Dillard officiating. The committal service and burial will follow in Mountain Veiw Cemetery with military rites presented by VFW Post 6975 Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Price, Rex Gentry, Tommy Webb, Jerry Fricker, Roy Fricker, Roger Fricker and Mike Blair. Condolences may be sent to the family via e-mail at blevins@funeral-plans.com. The family will receive friends at the home of Barbara and Jim Gentry, 1141 Pennsylvania Ave., Bristol, Tenn. Mr. Slagle, 78, of 711 College Ave., Bristol, Tenn., died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Wellmont Hospice House. Arrangements especially for Mr. Slagle have been made through Blevins Funeral Home.
