Strouth Funeral services for Halvie Ethridge Strouth will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Bowery, Rev. Lawrence Stout and Rev. Raymond Burkett officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rex Leonard, Jimmy Arnold, Tony Deel, Tony Smith, Eddie Johnson, Sonny Kistner, Bill Watson and Jeff Stout. Honorary pallbearers include Julian Burroughs, grandsons and granddaughters, Dr. John Allerton, Howard Strouth, Donald Strouth, Richard Watson, Howard Campbell, Dr. Christopher Kennedy and members of Full Gospel Tabernacle. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601. Mr. Strouth, 78, of 1519 Georgia Ave., Bristol, Tenn., passed away Jan. 21, 2003, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
