Lou Emma Williams Tester 





    Mrs. Lou Emma Tester, 83, 203 Redwood Road, Bristol, Tenn., died Sunday, 

August 20, 2006, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. 





    Mrs. Tester was a native of Bristol, Tenn., and was the daughter of the 

late Roy and Ida Mae Bland Williams. In addition to her parents, she was 

preceded in death by a son, Fred Tester. 





    Mrs. Tester was a member of the Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, Va. 





    Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law, Gary and Lisa 

Tester of Chattanooga, Jack and Vella Tester of Elizabethton, and Vivian 

Tester of Bristol; six grandchildren, Sherrie Tester Burnette of Bristol, 

Leslie Tester Teeple of Knoxville, John Tester of Atlanta, Tiffani Tester of 

Knoxville, Abigail and Emma Tester of Chattanooga; two great-grandchildren; 

and two sisters, Helen Miller of Bristol, Tenn., and Barbara Groom of 

Nashville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 





    The memorial service for Mrs. Tester will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. 

Sunday, August 27, at Southside Christian Church in Elizabethton with Mr. Clay 

Bailey, minister, and Rev. Zane Tester officiating. Music will under the 

direction of Joel Crisp. The family will receive friends at the church from 3 

to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family 

requests that donations be made to Southside Christian Church, 1605 Southside 

Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family

    Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton is serving the Tester family.
