Thelma was born in Newton, N.J., Nov. 14, 1917, and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mellie (Allen) Hamler. She had worked for many years at a hospital in New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Tallman; and brothers Wilbur Hamler and Rolland Hamler. Thelma is survived by her loving family; daughters Susan VanDerMark of Florida, and Barbara Roberts of Blountville; 16 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sisters Marion Fichter of Alabama and Mildred Stephens of New Jersey.
