Tittle (newspaper unknown), died October 11, 1982 Jimmie W. Tittle Jimmie W. Tittle, 50, of 1815 Hutchinson Dr., died Monday, Oct. 11, at his home following a brief illness. A native of Erwin, Mr. Tittle was in TEC's Acid Division and had been with the Company for more than 30 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict, a member of Kingsport Baptist Temple and American Legion Hammond Post No. 3. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Tittle; two daughters, Linda Cutshaw and Tammy Tittle, both of Kingsport; a grandson; five brothers, Kenneth Douglas and Thurman, both of Kingsport, Jerry, of Richmond, Va., Ronald, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Earnest, of Oklahoma. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Northeast Church of Christ with Tom Seals officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill.
