Sue M. Watson, 75, Chinquapin Grove Rd., Bluff City, went to 
be with the Lord, Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Wellmont Hospice 
House, Bristol, Tennessee. 
She was a native of Sullivan County where she lived all her life, and 
the daughter of the late David and Jennie Buchanan. 
She was a long time member of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church. 
Mrs. Watson was retired from Chinquapin Grove Utility District where 
she worked for 27 years. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley C. Watson; four sisters, 
Edna Cox, Lila Jenkins, Ruby Hardin and Celia Cawood; one half-sister, 
Virgie Glover, and five brothers, Bill , Harrison, Bass, Arlie and John 
Henry Buchanan. 
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Judy Watson, Bluff 
City; a daughter, Sonja K. Eads, Bluff City; two granddaughters, Brandy 
Icenhour and fiancé, Larry Weber, Bristol, Tenn.; Kelly Pierson and 
husband Dave, Bluff City; three great grandchildren, Tyler and Rikki 
Icenhour, Bristol, Tenn. and Ashtin Brynn Pierson, Bluff City; special 
friends, Ruby Carrier, Debra Beeler, Netta Baker, Clyde Nelson and Mike 
Hughes. A special thank you to a brother and sister-in-law, Marie and 
Herbert Glover and their daughter, Laura White, for all their help. 
The funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2004 
at Tetrick Funeral Home- Bluff City Chapel with Rev. Ray Hardin and Mr. 
Monty Buchanan officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, 
February 8, 2004 at McKinney Cemetery, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will 
be selected from family. Honorary pallbearers will be all nephews of the 
Buchanan and Watson families. Those who wish to attend the graveside 
service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday. The family 
will receive friends following the funeral service Saturday, or other times 
at the residence, 1832 Chinquapin Grove Rd., Bluff City. Online condolences
