Williams Velma L. Williams, 85, of Bristol Tennessee, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 17, 1917, to the late James and Ethel Vandyke in Noblestown, Pa. Mrs. Williams was a retired sales clerk at Hills Department Store and was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Williams. Surviving are son, Edward Heiber of Oakdale, Pa.; and daughters, Ethel Ann Heiber, Katie Heiber, Dorothy Heiber and Darlene Heiber, all of Oakdale. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Mountain View Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
