I Catherine Robinson of the County of Sullivan State of Tennessee thanks be to God being in tolerable health and of sound mind and perfect memory yet considering the uncertainty of life have thought fit to constitute and appoint this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that first and principally I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Heavenly Maker in hope though the Ministry Death and Passion of my Blessed Savior Jesus Christ to receive pardon and remission of all my sins. Next I commit my body to the Ground to be buried in a Christian like manner at the Direction of my Executor and to what real and personal estate which God hath been pleased to bless me with, I give & bequeath in manner & form following. Imprimises my will is & I do order that my just debts and funeral charges shal be paid and satisfied by my Executor out of my Estate within some convenient time after my Decease. I give and bequeath unto my only son Jacob Robinson all my real & personal Estate that may or shall be found after my Decease and lastly I do appoint my beloved son the aforesaid Jacob Robinson my Executor of this my last will & testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal in the presence of us this 27th Day of July 1796 John Chester Daniel Duff Cathrine Robison (seal)
