Rev William Bradley son of Joshua & Ann (Giles) Bradley, was born in Summer Co, TN 13 Feb 1814, He was converted in 1850 and the next year began to preach, receiving ordination among the General Baptist 24 Oct 1852. His labors were in Southern Illinois Year meeting, where he baptized several hundred converts and helped to organize some twenty churches. He was constantly enggaged in pastornal; work until his death 10 Aug 1887. He was twice elected County Judge and once Associate Judge, and was widley respected. In 1835, he was married to Serena Draper and their children remained to mourn his death.
