Senter's Chapel Cemetery Location of Cemetery: Senter's Chapel cemetery is a primarily African-American cemetery located 1 mile Northeast of Bethpage on Highway 31-E. Turn left onto Rogues Fork Road and travel north approximately 2 4/10 miles. From Highway 52 turn on Rogues Fork Road, travel south for 5.3 miles. The cemetery is approximately 100 yards off the road on the east side of the road. Table 1. Gravestones found on July 21-23, 2001. Also throughout the cemetery there were at least twelve field stones located. Upon comparing the individuals found in prior cemetery surveys, there were three people that were listed as having temporary markers locating their graves. There were none of the temporary markers found during the project. These individuals are: Table 2. Missing temporary markers. However, these graves were not found in the fenced in project area. However, at least one gravestone was sighted in a heavily wooded area that will be cleaned in the future by Boy Scouts. It involved cleaning up the cemetery, cleaning the gravestones, recording all the information and comparing it with previous records, and creating a database and submitting it to the US GenWeb cemetery project.
