G. Perdues Corner North 82 poles to two Chestnut Sprouts West 34 poles to a rock south 34 poles to a black oak west 121 poles to the beginning containing one hundred and six acres be the same more or less to have and to hold the said land to the said Lee Perdue his heirs and assigns forever I Daniel Perdue doth covenant with said Lee Perdue that I am Lawfully Seized of said Land have a Good right to Convey it and that the same is unincumbered and I the said Daniel Perdue for myself my heirs and representatives doth bind myself to warrant and forever defend the said Land against the Lawful Claim of all persons whatsoever in Witness I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this the 3rd day of November 1851. Bugg Clerk of the County Court of said County Daniel Perdue the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the foregoing Deed for the purpose therin contained witness my hand at office this the 28th day of February 1853. John L. Bugg Cler Registered 23rd March 1853 J. Bruce Reg S.C. Additional Comments: Lee Perdue was born ca 1811 in Franklin Co., VA to Daniel Perdue and his first wife Prudence Ward. Daniel and Prudence moved to Sumner Co., TN in 1815. Prudence Ward Perdue died in 1828 and Daniel Perdue married second in 1832 to Harriet Wyatt. Lee Perdue married in 1833 Mary Wyatt (Harriet's first cousin) daughter of James King and Elizabeth Wyatt.
