Settle, April 1, 1993, Kansas City, Missouri. In the name of God, Amen. Know all men by these presents, that I, Presley Suttle of the county of Sumner and State of Tennessee, knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life, have thought proper to make and publish this, my last Will and Testament. And by this presents do make and publish this, my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. To wit. 1. I give all my Estate, real and personal, to my wife, Elizabeth Suttle, during her natural life time or widowhood, with the following exceptions, vis. 2. I give Polly Grainger, one dollar, to her and her heirs, for ever. 3. I give my son, Sandy Suttle, one dollar, to him and his heirs, for ever. 4. I give my daughter, Elizabeth Jane Suttle, one bed and clothes and stead, belonging there unto, to her and her heirs for ever. Also, one cow and calf, six plates, set cups and saucers, 2 glasses, 1 pitcher, to her and her heirs, for ever. 5. At the death or marriage of my wife, Elizabeth Suttle, I wish an equal division of my estate, real and personal, between Jehu Suttle, Rebecca Moody, Jeremiah Suttle, Strother Suttle and the bodily heirs of Sally Coleman, to have one division among them all, Alfred Suttle, and Elizabeth Jane Suttle, to them and their heirs, for ever. To be most explicitly understood, each to have one Seventh part of the estate after paying all just debts & costs of administering. 6. I appoint Demsey Ashford and Strother Suttle my Executors to this my last Will and Testament, thereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made, testifying and confirming this my last Will and Testament in Testimony where as I have unto set my hand & seal this fifth day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three.
