The Reverend David Foster officiated. Vocal selections were provided by the Riverview Quartet. Mrs. Anders was a native of Washington County and a daughter of the late P.E. and Mattie Thompson Watson. She retired from S.H. Kresge (Kmart) in 1973. Mrs. Anders was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Anders and by one daughter, JoAnn Anders in 1994. Survivors include: two daughters, Margaret Tittle, Millersville, Maryland, and Betty Strickland, Erwin; one son, Robert Tucker, Erwin; one step=brother, Clarence Wilson, Jonesborough; one sister, Lucille Dwyer, Johnson City; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. Valley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
