Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Bell was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County, and a son of the late James W. and Celia Garland Bell. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Bell was a World War Two Army Veteran. He was active in the Ruritan Club and the LImestone Cove Volunteer Fire Deartment. Mr. Bell was a member of the Limestone Cove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Survivors include: his wife, Thelma Wallace Bell; two sons, Larry Bell, Kingsport, and Terry Bell, Unicoi; two daughters, Patsy Shaver and Penny Garland, both of Unicoi; one brother, Eugene Bell, Unicoi; three sisters, Virginia Henson Cochrane, Clinton, Minnie Odom, Unicoi and Florence Potter, Johnson City; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bell is interred at the Bell Cemetery.
