Mrs. Ruth Agnes White Brockus 

Mrs. Ruth Agnes White Brockus, 82,  Mountain City Nursing Home, Mountain City, 
formerly of Sunnycrest Apartments, Erwin, died Tuesday, November 25, 1997, at 
Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC.

She was a native of Unicoi County before moving to Mountain City in 1993, and
a daughter of the late Jess and Ester Ann Edwards White.

Mrs. Brockus had been employeed with Crystal Ice, Coal and Laundry. She
attended Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church, Erwin.

Mrs. Brockus was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Brockus, August
8, 1988, three bothers, and one sister.  Survivors include several nieces and
nephews.
