Burleson Mr. Charles R. Burleson, 73 of Fort Wayne, Indiana died March 23, 1998 in Fort Wayne. Mr. Burleson was a native of Erwin and a son of the late David C. and Betty Webb Burleson. He retired in 1976 as an iron worker for Iron Workers Local Number 147 after 26 years. Survivors include: his wife, Arlene J. Elmer Burleson. Fort Wayne; two sons, Charles David Burleson, and Richard D. Burleson, both of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Patricia A. Hardiek, and Carol M. Elkins both of Fort Wayne, and Charlene G. Mason, Fort Recovery, Ohio; three step-daughters, Suzanne Johns, Kathy Edmondson, and Tina Derickson, all of Fort Wayne; one step-son, John Evans, Decatur, Indiana; one brother, Edwards Burleson, California; and, two half-brothers, Billy Burleson and Bobby Burleson both of Erwin; and 15 grandchildren. Mr. Burleson is interred in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
