Hodges Brooks Mrs. Doris A. Hodges Brooks, 76, of 272 Sinking Creek Road, Johnson City died Sunday May 31, 1998 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Unicoi County , and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. Mrs. Brooks was a daughter of the late Rice and Anna Gertrude Peoples Adkins. She was a memebr of King Springs Church of Christ. Mrs. Brooks was a retired employee of the Mountain Home Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Lee Hodges, and Dorce Brooks. Survivors include: two daughters, Trudy Ann Hodges, and Judy powers, both of Johnson City; four sons, Robert E. Hodges, Monroe, Michigan, Donald Ray Hodges, Roger Dale Hodges, and Terry Lee Hodges, all of Johnson City; one sister, Elizabeth Bailey, Spokane, Washington; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She is interred in the Monte Vista Burial Park.
