Ms. Campbell was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late James H. and Mary Archer Campbell. She retired in 1982 as a seamstress with Levi Strauss and Company, after 29 years of service. Ms. Campbell was a charter member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifton G. Campbell, Carl A. Campbell and Emmett M. Campbell; two sisters, Axie Campbell and Nora Lillian Piercy. Survivors include four nieces, Margaret Lance of Erwin, Sue Bailey of Johnson City, Kathy Radar of San Diego, California, and Marilyn Town, Portland, Oregon; three great nephews, Joey Whitlock and Tracy Whitlock of Johnson City, and David Lance of Erwin; five great nieces, Kim Maxwell of Elizabethton, Kathy Tilson of Erwin, Donna Hale, Rhonda Peters and Robin Proffitt, all of Johnson City; and several great-great nieces and nephews. Ms. Campbell is interred at Evergreen Cemetery.
