Foster Funeral services for Emmert O. Foster. age 77. Route 2, Erwin, who died Saturday, April 18, 1998, in Unicoi County Memorial Hospital, were held at 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, from the Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends Brad Higgins, Terry Richardson, and J.C. Sheets officiated. Music was provided by the Foster Brothers. Graveside services and interment were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Unaka Springs Cemetery. Mr. Foster was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a son of the late Lee Ander and Nancy Tipton Foster. He was an employee of the Clinchfield Railroad before retiring after 30 years of service. Mr. Foster was an Army Veteran. He was amember of the Unaka Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Lou Foster in 1963. Survivors inclide: his wife, Blanche Edwards Foster,; two sons, gary Foster, Erwin and Larry Copp, Washington County; three daughters, June Cutshall and Jeanette Wooton, both of Erwin, and Diana Copp Hensley, Greeneville; one brother, Junioc Foster, Erwin; one sister, Louise Masters, Erwin; and one grandchild, Sasha Wooton. Ledford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
