Mrs. Guinn was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Manuel R., Senior and Anna Mae Laws Capps. She had been employed in retail sales in Erwin for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Guinn, 1940; one son, Edwin Guinn, 1934; one brother, Dana Capps; three sisters, Elsie Hampton, Ruth Capps, and Elizabeth Davis. Survivors include: one daughter, Maxine Masters, Erwin; one brother, Manuel R. Sapps, Junior, Erinw; one sister, Jacqueline Clahoun, Chattanooga; five granddaughters, Lynne May, Joy Tipton, Leslie Ramsey, Christen Wilson, all of Erwin, and Donna Hudgens, Abingdon, Virginia; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, and sevral nieces and nephews. Mrs. Guinn is interred at Evergreen Cemetery.
