Harding ERWIN -- Mr. Kenneth C. Harding, 64, 326 Catawba St., died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at his residence. Mr. Harding was a Unicoi County native, having lived in Bristol for a number of years. He was a son of Arnold Harding, Erwin, and the late Velma Coates Harding. Mr. Harding was a truck driver for 42 years, having worked for Mason Dixon, MHR and Shoun Lumber Company. He was a member of Upper Higgins Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Harding was a member of Teamsters Local Union 549, member of the Jericho Shrine Temple, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 161. He was a member of Bristol Masonic Lodge No. 162 F. & A.M. and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the Erwin Elk's Lodge No. 1985 and the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 939. Survivors, in addition to his father, include: his wife, Eva Rice Harding; two daughters and one son-in-law, Katrina and Clyde Hensley, Erwin, and Benita Harding, Johnson City; three granddaughters, Amanda Hensley, Kayla Hensley and Nicole Hensley, all of Erwin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m.Wednesday from the Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Reece Harris will officiate. Music will be provided by Jackie Sprose and Inez Chandler. Masonic rites will be rendered by Erwin Centennial Lodge No. 491, F. & A.M. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, Erwin. Family, minister and friends may gather at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of his father, Arnold Harding, 326 Catawba St., Erwin.
