Adeline B. Keene 





    Adeline B. Keene, 78, Life Care Center, Elizabethton, died there Sunday, 

December 17, 2006, following an extended illness. 





    A native of Unicoi County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Dora 

Crowe Beckelhimer. She had lived most of her life in Elizabethton. 





    Mrs. Keene was a member of the Roan Street Church of God. During her 

lifetime, she was associated with her late husband in the operation of the 

Keene Construction Co. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death 

by her husband, Roy F. Keene in 1973, by one daughter and three sisters. 





    Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen W. and Brenda Keene, 

Elizabethton; a grandson, Marcus Wayne Keene and his wife, Cathy, Bluff City; 

a great granddaughter, Haley M. Keene; and a step-daughter, July Telitzky, 

Atlanta, Ga. 





    Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Happy 

Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Reggie Weems officiating. Burial will follow the 

service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will 

receive friends from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
