Mae Poore Kirby

Mae Kirby Poore, 96, of 1026 Florida Avenue, Erwin died Sunday June 7, 1998 in
Magnolia Manor of Inman.

A native of Erwin, she was the widow of Henry Mack Kirby and the daughter of
the late Frank and Melvina Huskins Poore. Mrs. Kirby worked at The Standard
for a number of years before her retirement. She was a member of Calvary
Baptist Church.

Survivors include: five nieces, Arizona Hughes Bright, Caroyln Hughes Brewer
and Bernice Hughes Gregory, all of Spartanburg, SC, Delores Hughes Adkins and
Wanda Hughes Settles of Chesnee; a nephew, Raplh Hughes of Marietta, Georgia.
Mrs. Kirby was interred at Sunset Memorial Park.
