Larimer Ms. Hazel T. Larimer, 73, died Wednesday, January 7, 1998 at the Erwin Health Care Center, 100 Stalling Lane, Erwin following a lengthy illness. Ms. Larimer was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Charles L. and Myrtle Taylor Larimer. Ms. Larimer was employed with Southern Pottery for 15 years as a designer painter. She was also employed as a cashier with the United Telephone Company, having retired after 26 years of service. Ms. Larimer was a member of Ninth Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence T. Larimer in 1994; and one great-nephew, Matthew Aaron Larimer in 1997. Survivors include: one sister, Mrs. Ruth Duncan , Erwin; one brother-in-law, Gene Duncan, Erwin; one sister- in-law, Chestine Larimer, Erwin; one nephew, Craig P. Larimer; one niece, Mary Elizabeth Duncan Jones; one great-nephew, Patrick N. Larimer; and several cousins. Ms. Larimer is interred at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
