UNICOI COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Lena Folsom Bogart Smith, 30 May 2005

Lena Folsom Bogart Smith, age 94, Formerly of Arney Street, Elizabethton, died
Monday, May 30, 2005, in the Hillview Health Center following an extended
illness. A native of Erwin, she was a daughter of the late James and Mollie
Haney Bogart. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of First Christian
Church, Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in
death by her husband, William W. Smith, a sister, Dorothy Helen Tinker and a
brother, Lyndon Bogart. 

Survivors include two brothers, James William Bogart, El Paso, Texas, and
Robert Bogart, Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews. 

The graveside service for Mrs. Smith will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1,
2005, in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Brent Nidiffer, minister,
officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday for
the graveside service. Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m.- 5
p.m. Tuesday, May 31. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make
donations to First Christian Church, 513 Hattie Avenue, Elizabethton, TN.
