Tapp, Senior Mr. Harry L. Tapp, Senior, 60, 416 Railroad Street, Erwin, died Tuesday, January 27, 1998 at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Tapp was a native of Unicoi County and a son of the late Geter and Olive Murphy Tapp. He served with the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Tapp moved to Washington, D.C., where he was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 35 years and by Safeco for 30 years. He moved back to Erwin following his retirement. He attended Fishery Union Church and Ninth street Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Cathryn Osborne Tapp; one daughter and son-in- law, Teresa and Raymond Harlow, Erwin; two sons, Harry L Tapp, II and wife, Betty Tapp, Alexandria, Virginia, and Timothy Tapp, rwin; one sister, Margaret Tapp of Florida; two brothers, Jim Tapp, Erwin, and Bill Tapp of Atlanta; and three grandchildren, Joyce Tapp, Harry tapp III and Clinton Harlow. Mr. Tapp is interred at Fishery Union Church Cemetery.
