Dodson Register For and in consideration of the sum of ( $ 1,000.00 ) One Thousand Dollars in hand paid by one note dated the Date of this deed and for $ 1,000.00, we R. K. Morgan And wife Mary Morgan have bargained and sold and By these presents do transfer and convey unto the Said Allen Morgan and wife Ella Morgan heirs and Assigns a certain tract or parcel of land in the 10th Dist. Of Warren County, State of Tennessee as follows: Beginning on the S.E. corner J.W. Hillis on the northside Of Barren Fork River: with maple pointers running Thence N.E. 108 poles to a maple. J.W. Hillis corner Thence N 3 degrees E. 85 poles to Black Gum. J. W. Hillis N.E. Corner and Bud Higgins S.E. Corner, thence N with Higgins line 51 poles to post oak stump on N. side of Road Marion Martins corner, thence with his line East 53 poles to a stone at forks of road, thence with The road Southwardly 169 poles to stake in Center of The road with cherry pointers, thence S. 87 7/8 degrees E. 119 poles To a stone and white oak pointer in Mullicans west Boundary line, thence S. 8 degrees W. with the said Mullicans West boundary line 112 poles to sour wood tree on the North bank of Barren Fork River, thence up the river With its center to the beginning containing 200 acres More or less being same track of land conveyed to T. Gilentine and wife by Jessie Martin and wife and From T. Gilentine and wife to us R.A. Morgan and Wife, the same deeds have been recorded on register Books at McMinnville. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with The appurtenances estate title and interest there to belonging To the said Allen Morgan and wife Ella Morgan , heirs and assigns forever, and we R.K. Morgan and wife Mary Morgan do convenant with the Said Allen Morgan and wife Ellen Morgan that we Lawfully seized and possessed of said land and Have a good right to convey it . We do further covenant and bind our Heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend The title to said land to the said Allen Morgan and wife Ella Morgan. Theirs and assigns against the lawful Claims of all persons whomsoever a lien is expressly Retained upon the property herein conveyed to secure all the Deferred payments of purchase money. Morgan, having Personally appeared before me privately and apart from her husband.
