There was enumerated years ago upwards of 60 graves here. The only remaining visible tombstones are the broken ones of: Britton Phillips Born: August 15,1808 Died: February 25,1867 Margaret Phillips Born: October 4,1817 Died: July 1,1855 Personal Knowledge: Britton Phillips was the son of Dyer Phillips and grandson of Revoluntionary War Captain George Phillips of Cumberland Parish, Lunenburg County, Virginia.
