Hunt, and Robert L. Keefauver, Trustees of the Limestone Baptist Church of the other part, all of the county of Washington and State of Tennessee. Whereas the said J.M. Hunt now owned the farm from which there was excepted a certain amount of land by Jessee Hunt in a Deed of Conveyance to Hannah Cox in the year 1866 for the Baptist Church, which Church is located in the 14th Civil District of Washington County and State of Tennessee, known as the Limestone Baptist Church. There was also excepted from said farm of the said J.M. Hunt by Hannah Cox in a Deed of Conveyance by said Hannah Cox to J.M. Hunt, Sr. in the year 1876, enough land when added to the amount of land excepted by the said Jessee Hunt in the year of 1876 would make two acres. Now we the parties herein named agree and establish the following division lines for the said Baptist Church lot of Limestone - Beginning at a planted stone in Walker's line, thence with said Walker's line South 42 East 19 18/25 poles to a planted rock in Walker's line corner this day made. Thence with a fence, North 37 East 20 poles to a planted rock on the East side of the road, thence North 53 1/2 West 17 poles to a planted rock. Thense South 44 1/2 West 16 poles to the beginning, containing two acres. We further agree to take and accept the above described lot for two acres. This the date above written - Adam Good Robert L. Keefauver Jacob H. Hunt J.M. Hunt This deed was drawn up to replace the original lost deed. Hannah Cox was the wife of James W. Cox and the daughter of Chase Hale and Clarissa Kincheloe. She married James Cox in Washington Co. on February 26, 1846 and she died August 13, 1894. James and Hannah Cox are buried at Fairview Methodist Cemetery near Jonesborough.
