WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN - DEEDS - Demarcus Rogers to James Rogers, 13 Jun 1848 ----¤¤¤---- [This deed is very pale and difficult to read] This indenture made the 13th day of June 1848 in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred forty/48 between Demarcus H. Rogers of the County of Washington State of Tennessee on the one part and James Rogers of the ____state aforesaid of the other part __________the said Demarcus H. Rogers for and in consideration of one hundred Dollars in hand paid ________ is hereby acknowledged ____bargain________ and his claim and by these presents _________and quit claim unto said James Rogers his heirs and assigns forever all the _________ I have to and in a tract of land ____ to me by way of Legacy from the estate of William Rogers ________to me containing 158 acres adjoining ____James Haltaway, Alexander and others together with all singulars the ____________and appertenances there unto belonging or any ________appertaining and the revisioners or revisions remainder or remainders rents issues and profits thereof and ___all estate rights title interest claim or demand whatsoever of them. The said Demarcus H. Rogers or his heirs either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof to the sale and only profits use benefits and behalf of the said James Rogers his heis and assigns forever in witness whereof the said Demarcus H.
