Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tenn. He was born in Sullivan County, Tenn., was of the Protestant faith and attended Eastern Heights Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Hackler Wood Post 145. He was a retired supervisor of Cortrim Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas Clifton and Isabel Gurley Bunn; and sister, Ms. Betty B. Jones. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Wilma Bolling Bunn of the home; son, Richard Milton Bunn Jr., Charlotte, N.C.; brothers, Larry Bunn and Don Bunn; sisters, Ms. Norma Cunningham, Bristol Tennessee, Ms. Rebecca Bunn, Bristol Tennessee, Ms. Jane Gentry, Fayetteville, N.C., and Ms. Wilma Sue Tuthill, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandson, D.J. Bunn, Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7 p.m.Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Eastern Heights Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rick Light officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church or the family will receive friends at the residence, 172 School St., Blountville.
