Edgar Lee Presnell Sr. 





    Edgar Lee "Ed" Presnell Sr., 71, 2900 W. Market Street, Johnson City, 

passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at Johnson City Medical Center. 





    Mr. Presnell was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a son 

of Margaret Mast Crawford and the late Lee Presnell. In addition to his father, 

he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lou Little Presnell, in May 1997. 





    Mr. Presnell was retired from Flea Marketing and Wholesaling. He was of the 

Baptist faith. 





    Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, Eddie and Robin 

Presnell, Elizabethton, David and Linda Presnell, Johnson City, Charles 

Presnell, Johnson City, Robert and Regina Presnell, Bluff City, and Kenneth 

Presnell, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Ronnie Martin of 

Arizona; two sisters, Mary Greene and Ruth Belcher, both of North Carolina; a 

brother, Johnny Presnell of North Carolina; seven grandsons; and many nieces, 

nephews, aunts and uncles. 





    A graveside funeral service for Mr. Presnell will be conducted at 2 p.m. 

Saturday, January 28, at Washington County Memory Gardens with Rev. Willie 

Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker Funeral 

Home from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday. The procession will then leave the 

funeral home to go to the cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to 

visit the home of his mother, Margaret Crawford, as well as the home of a son, 

David Presnell. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. Online
