WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Emma Jean Collins Richardson, 26 Jan 2004 ----¤¤¤---- Emma J. Richardson Mrs. Emma Jean Collins Richardson, 72, Jessie Lane, Charles Town, W. Va., died Monday, January 26, 2004, in Charles Town, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Richardson was a native of Washington County, Tenn., and the daughter of the late Thomas Dayton and Grace Mae Sims Collins. Mrs. Richardson was a middle school teacher for many years in Prince George's County, Md., and was a member of Mt. Rainier Christian Church in Mt. Rainier, Md. Survivors include her husband, Foy Richardson, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and John Spuria, Charles Town, W. Va.; a granddaughter, Jill Spuria, Charles Town, W. Va.; and a grandson, Michael Spuria, Charles Town, W. Va. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, January 29, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Mr. John Perkins, minister, officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
