WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Raymond Eugene Trent, 1 Jul 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Raymond E. Trent Raymond Eugene Trent, 93, 516 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Asbury Place. Mr. Trent was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. He was a son of the late Frank and Laura Trent and was also preceded in death by his wife, Maudie Ellen Miller Trent, a son, Roy E. Trent, two brothers, James Trent, and an infant brother, and an infant sister. Mr. Trent was a retired employee of Transit-Mix Concrete Company. He was a member of Prayer Tabernacle in Elizabethton. Survivors include three daughters, Patsy Wagner, Margaret Wallace and Ina Hurley, all of Johnson City; a son, Billy Joe Trent, Johnson City; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a niece, Thelma Osborne, Johnson City; and a nephew, Cecil Trent, Sandusky, Ohio. TRENT -- Funeral services for Raymond Eugene Trent, 93, 516 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, who died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 3, from the Morris-Baker South Chapel with the Rev. A.G. Wagner, the Rev. Johnny Hilton and Greg Wagner officiating. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as active pallbearers. Dr. Jason Hatjioannou and the men of Prayer Tabernacle will serve as honorary pallbearers. Committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at Monte Vista Burial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 1:40 p.m. Saturday and travel in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of a daughter, Margaret Wallace, 569 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City.
