Walsh Miss Cecil Ann Walsh, 98, 601 W. Main St., Johnson City, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2001, in the Johnson City Medical Center. A Carter County native, she was a daughter of the late George and Martha Grindstaff Walsh. She had lived in Johnson City since 1955. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Lewis and Pearl Lipford, and three brothers, Bert Walsh, Jim Walsh and Obie Walsh. She was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corp. Miss Walsh was a member of University Parkway Baptist church. Survivors include a niece with whom she made her home, Shirley Caruso, of the home, and several others nieces and nephews. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. WALSH -- Funeral services for Miss Cecil Ann Walsh, 98, 601 W. Main St., Johnson City, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Reggie Weems officiating. Interment will be in Butler Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Simcox fficiating. Pallbearers will be selected from friends attending the service.
