WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN - VITALS - Marriage, John A. Downy to Rebeckah Humphreys, 23 Aug 1860

State of Tennessee, Washington County:
To any Regular Minister of the Gospel, Judge, Chancellor or Justice of the 
Peace:

You are hereby authorized and empowered to solemnize the rites of MARRIAGE 
between John A. Downy and Rebeckah Humphreys and join them together as Husband 
and Wife, in the holy estate of Matrimony; and this License return to office, 
endorsed by you with the date of such Marriage, within six months.

Witness F. A. Conly, Clerk of the County Court of said County, at office in 
Jonesborough, this 21, day of August 1860.  P. Henley, Clerk.
